Spring is in the air, and we've got the perfect cocktails to help your transition through the last few snowy days of winter to usher in the essence of spring. Our head bartender's top three libations refresh your palette with the perfect combinations of sweet and bitter, with a twist on a few classics.
Angel’s Boulevardier- Complete with a Sambuca rinse (our take on Sazerak, an absinthe rinse), the Angel's Boulevardier cocktail emits a few very different flavor profiles. These are composed of the sweet taste of Angels Envy Bourbon and the contrasting bitter taste of vermouth. This is the ideal cocktail for anyone who enjoys a classic Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.
Tequila Old Fashioned- A Citizen top seller, taken from classic 19th century recipe for an Old Fashioned. There is no muting involved, instead we use Angostura Orange Bitters and organic white agave nectar instead of sugar. This diffuses into a Repesado Tequila and gives the cocktail a nice delicate sweetness. Garnished with orange peel for added citrus, this drink is perfect for anyone who enjoys tequila or an old fashioned and wants to try something new that they will really enjoy.
Kettle Apple Pie- The perfect for an outdoor drinker enjoying a gorgeous spring day. Made with Kettle One Vodka, our house made cinnamon simple syrup, fresh squeezed lemon juice and amaretto liquor, topped with even parts soda water and cranberry juice. Finalized with a garnish of our house made cinnamon sugar dehydrated apple, which is a mixture of cinnamon, amaretto, lemon juice and cranberry give the full flavor profile of biting into a juicy apple.
